Just returned from my CR5, which - as the titel says - was a grand succes (for me). Does it really have to with running in the morning as to during the week running after work? Might be, but my body felt fresh and did not tire. No feeling of draining energy like my past 3 runs (which were after work).
I did run even more snailier than normal, coming closer again to slow jogging. And it felt GOOD! It actually felt so good, I stuck an additional 5 minute to the end. Yes, I ran 35 minutes without walking. Woopwoop me!
My plan now is to run 30 minutes after work, with a walking break if needed. And to run 35 minutes in the weekend, hopefully without walking break.
Now this has made me smile...sounds fantastic Hidden ...you got the pace right, you were in the right frame of mind and you chose the right time of day for you! Now go and enjoy your Sunday ππ»ππ»ππ»
I know especially after being sat down for ages π. Weβll get there - will be a lot easier when itβs lighter in the evening. Bring on springtime πΊ
Yes and I do try to get up once in a while. I even have this under desk step thing to use. But all to no avail it seems. I am just too tired it seems after work. Even a desk job is physically exhausting. Poor us! π
Fantastic! I haven't managed to get myself out running after work even once. I've been going out on my lunch break and eating lunch in front of my laptop, which is pretty nice as a way to reset my brain from workmode. Does make me very tired when I get to the evening, but the running itself doesn't seem to suffer.
Only have 30 mins lunch break. So too short to change clothes, walk 5 mins, run 30 mins, walk 5 mins and change clothes again. Otherwise I would do so too, think that would be better for my body than running after work. Alass... But good for you that you can!
