Yay !! today I slow ran for 20 mins, feeling well chuffed. It was very cold and a bit foggy along the seafront and the first 5 mins seemed endless, had to keep reminding myself to slow down but rather than dwell on ' when is Laura going to speak' or 'how much longer' I decided to think about what I was having for dinner tonight, what shopping I needed, pay day and of course my banging tunes - it definitely helped.

Congratulations.

You have the right idea........ don't think about time or the physical effort and running becomes useful headspace time.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

What do you mean please? go too fast? because you got walk intervals again?

Because you ran for 20 minutes non stop for run 3 of week 5, runs 1 and 2 of week 6 are back to interval walks and runs, those two runs have caught out a few people, the muscles in your legs don't like going back to walking, however, if you take those two runs slowly you will be 🆗, take care. 😊
