Does anyone get really cold after a run? I'm frozen like shivering 10minutes after I get home, and even a hot shower doesn't always work.

Freezing after a run!!

If you do an internet search you will find it is quite a common occurrence for some runners and the cause is not clear although low blood sugar seems the most likely reason.

I always do, interesting that IannodaTruffe says it’s due to low blood sugar as I always run first thing in the morning before eating.

Ooh, I'm the opposite! I strip off as soon as I'm in the door.....walk around in the house in my sports bra and leggings whilst I have a drink and cool off? My husband doesn't mind........I apologise about the mental image which you may now be stuck with!🤣
Ooh lucky you! I jump in a hot shower then layer up like I'm ready for snow! 😂

Try listening to NRC ‘A Cold Run’. Coach Bennett explains this and the need to warm up after a cold run. Don’t know how long it is but you don’t have to run it, just listen to it 😊

Yes, me too sometimes, even when I've run in very hot sun.
I’ve been the same recently - probably just the freezing weather and when you’re sweating while running and the cold hits the sweat it makes you feel extra cold! I have a hot bath after mine and a cuppa. ❤️
Something that helped me was drinking a glass of water as soon as I got in. I'll dissolve a berocca (or supermarket equivalent) into it, but staying hydrated appears to stop the shakes.

Same here so I'm glad it's not just me. I go out first thing around 6am and so before I eat anything.
For the rest of the day, it'll feel as if my cheeks (face ones 😀) are on fire but my face isn't hot to touch but my feet will be freezing and I'll be cold until at least late morning
