First run with new Garmin Forerunner 45

Haven't posted for a while, life got a bit busy! I have just started a training plan on the Garmin watch I got for Christmas. Aiming to reach a faster pace over 5k, looks like a similar idea to C25K but focussed on achieving a specific pace. I thought it might be an interesting way to continue running after completing the C25K plan. I'll let you know how I get on! First run today was a very fast run for 5 minutes as a measurement of where I am at. Managed to run at 4 minutes per km for 2 minutes, then walk for 1 minute and then another 2 at about 4/km again. I haven't run that fast for a very long time! Back to a more steady pace and longer time for the next run, I'll post again when I am done.
