Couldn’t run Christmas Eve or Christmas Day because of ice underfoot so decided to go for it today and roped in my younger son. Oh my! Wind, rain, hail and sleet BUT I ran for 34 minutes and 4K!
That’s my best run ever and I felt I could’ve run for longer! I was soaked through tho and had done a nice loop.
My last best run was last time my son came with me. Is he my lucky charm or perhaps the chit chat passes the time and the focus isn’t all on the running? I like to run with a podcast or a story so I think the latter is true.
I wonder what Mondays weather will bring?!

It was great having the company. He’s very patient thankfully as I’m not very fast! The suns coming out here now which is nice with the dusting of snow!
I was planning on going out today, but Bella is here too with a LOAD of wind and risk of things falling. So much to my anguish I am going to hit the treadmill (despite owning a treadmill I hate running on it). I don't mind rain, I love running in rain. But I do fear wind...
I hardly ever use it though. But with the risk of falling branches and flying debris and such, I thought to give the treadmill a try again. I prefer outdoors though!
