So I did my first consolidation run this morning, using the last run of week 9 to guide me - I canβt give up Michael J quite yet! Anyway, I did a totally different and lovely route which was pretty much downhill or flat, really slowly I have to admit! Mentally it was very different because I couldnβt really estimate how far Iβd gone based on familiar landmarks and therefore ran a good 0.3 km less than last time! But I really enjoyed it especially as itβs nice and sunny here today! Finished at Winchester Cathedral. Onwards and upwards!
1st CR - slow but sure π: So I did my first... - Couch to 5K
1st CR - slow but sure π
Very Well done on your 1st consolidation run π looks like a nice scenic route. I just managed my 5th CR last night in the dark round my local streets so sadly nothing worthy of a picture π great feeling though. That was the 2nd run Iβve done without Laura in my ear keeping me company on route... not sure if Iβve given her up for good yet or I may listen to the other guides and see what they have to say. Keep up the CRs though Frenc π hopefully weβll both get to wherever we are going?
Well done, glad you had such a lovely run.
Well done for your first consolidation run! I dumped Michael and just ran to music, it felt so free! A new route really helps, too. I remember heading out of the village on an adventure, feeling like a real runner π
Thank you Jools2020! Yes, this morning definitely felt like an adventure - hereβs to many more ππΌπ!
Hear, hear! Having said that I dumped Michael, I did have to go back to him later on, cap in hand, as I did W1 R1 again as part of interval training. Fortunately, he was very forgiving π
Great job Frenc! You are storming ahead!
Well done!! Sounds like a nice route you took! Happy you enjoyed it x
New discoveries are part of CR sounds like a great run Frenc ! ππββοΈ
