When I started C25k at the end of October I really didn't think I'd be able to complete it. But after a few weeks it got a lot easier and I realsied that if I could keep up the 3 runs a week I'd finish in time for Christmas. So today, as an early Christmas present to myself, I completed the final run, and ran a personal best distance as well! To anyone who is struggling, or deciding whether or not to start, I'd just say stick to the programme, because it does work. It's got me from Couch to 4.58k!!
Happy Christmas everyone!

Back to the couch, obvs! Ha, only joking - I will definitely be keeping this up, helped in the short term by the fact I have a friend who's set up a challenge on Garmin Connect to see how many kms each of us can clock up before the end of the month.
Thanks for the tips Tasha! I might start lurking on the bridge to 10k forum, but for the time being I'll be taking it steady and aiming to get comfortable running 5k.
Thanks Cath, and congratulations to you on your recent 10k milestone - now that IS impressive! Really enjoy your posts - very readable and inspiring. You've come a long way!
Many thanks, that’s very kind of you, it is one heck of a journey, amazing what our bodies can do. I post my rantings and ramblings but pleased they inspire. Hope u had a good Christmas, happy running 🏃🏽♀️🎉
