Firstly thanks so much for all the brilliant responses to my cry for help. The forum is so good and helpful.
I took lots of the advice to heart. A new head band from my lovely daughter arrived yesterday so I wore that. I ran a different route and although I walked fast up a hill I completed 35 mins.
I told myself I was doing great because it was freezing and dull. I listened to an audiobook and got back please to have run with much less angst. I tried not to be cheesed off that it was a bit slower than I have achieved in the past. I was COLD!
So many many thanks π Hilary

Great that youβre keeping going! I saw the physiotherapist this morning via video and things are looking up for me to start running again in a few weeks if I follow her instructions πππΌββοΈππ½ββοΈπββοΈ
PS The majority of the population, including a lot of much younger people are much less fit than we are!
Thank you Brad. I do hope your back recovers. It is so hard to be forced to pause when you are injured. My yoga and Pilates keep me mobile. Although I have messed up my wrist at the moment! I hope you are out there soon.
