W5 R3?? advice please - update

Thanks to everyone who sent me messages yesterday - you really helped me and also re-reading the info on this site.

I am extremely pleased to report that I managed to complete the W5R3 this morning! - I stayed positive throughout, told myself that I could do it and I did it! - really was mind over body as I struggled at 15 minutes - but it is done! I am so so happy! and chuffed with myself. I feel now that I can get to the end - this was a huge mental challenge for me and I sailed through it really.

Thanks once again for all your support...

Ohhh roll on week 6 Gentleplum, don't over think week 6 you'll conquer it definitely πŸ’ͺ.

Remember those stretches and your rehydration.

The advice by CBDB over on strength and flex for pre run stretches etc may well assist you as you progress πŸ‘

Well done Gentleplum, so pleasing to hear of your successful run. As you say, you now know your body will carry you through to where you want to be and that's quite a revelation in itself . As they say, 'sometimes we are our own best friend'.!Best wishes as you near your Graduation.

Well done Gentleplum, love the nameπŸ‘. A great attitude to take with you on your run...what a difference it can make. You now CAN run through the rest of the programme and enjoy the rest of your running journey. Great run. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ‘. πŸ¦ŒπŸŒπŸ’πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ™‹

Leeloo7 just the way I was feeling. But told myself I could do it and I did! Positivity will help and you will knock it dead!

You deserve to be chuffed with yourself Gentleplum, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after that run* of week 5 which you have just ran 😊 πŸƒπŸΎ

*I am aways telling people not to look ahead at future weeks or runs so from now on I won't say anything about the third run of week 5 except to say that it IS a milestone run with C25K.

Thanks for the advice. It seems to look easier because of the breaks so I will be more aware of it now. If weather okay will tackle it on Friday.. I am a bit of a fair weather runner......
