Finally broke through another wall

It's a long time since I posted about my progress, but today I finally cracked run 3 of week 5, on my 11th attempt. Today I found the right (very very slow) speed that allowed me to jog for the whole 20 minutes. I see from all my various apps that my overall speed was slightly slower than the other attempts where I ran a bit and walked a bit which I suppose illustrates that I was going too fast in the running sections, but that is the thing I have really struggled with throughout the programme. Interestingly, the chart in my phone's app (Samsung Health) which records my activity automatically, seems to show that my speed gradually increased throughout the session, though I did manage to carry on to the end, so I didn't get too fast. So to other people struggling out there, I guess the advice is to not give up but keep on trying!

Well done on running for 20 minutes, run 3 of week 5, never give up trying, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

Agree totally with AIMorr, your next run is a monkey. Go real slow on that one. Mine was shared with rain, mud and curious sheep and is not one I ever want to do again.

Conversely the run you've just done was one of my best. Enjoy the feeling of achievement.

Well done! It's clearly been quite a struggle for you getting that pace right. You've done at last... now that muscle memory burn in... and you're good to go for the rest of the program. NOTHING else in C25K should faze you.
