Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, back to week 6 I go

I’m blaming it on the new trainers....

My 2nd attempt at week 8 run 2 after 2 weeks of isolation didn’t go to plan. I completed it, but I had to walk for about 5 minutes during the run... so I’m going to go back to week 6 and work my way back up... I’m determined to finish this, I may even win some sort of award for “most repeated weeks” and “C25k completed in the longest time”

Did you walk around a few days in your new trainers to wear them in and get used to them?

I'm sure you will graduate before Christmas.

Remember what I said about post viral fatigue. Make sure you're fully recovered.

BTW is BF Ok now after Covid and has he been inspired to put on his trainers?

Post viral fatigue is definitely a problem. I had the bird flu back in 2008. It took a month before I was able to get back to normal. (And then there was the Glandular Fever in my early twenties...)

Hi Hattie...well done you for getting out there again, you've had a pretty difficult time lately. Sounds like a plan...you don't want to put yourself under any pressure to complete the programme. Just do what's right for you. And same advice...go slow and then slower. I know you can do this...I've read your determination 😁😁😁👍. BTW....don't think you will get that award🤣😂 there's lots of us had to repeat weeks 🤣😂. Keep the pressure off. Good luck Hattie. All the best. 🏃‍♀️🙋

There’s no rush to complete the programme, it’s great to hear how determined you are and when you graduate, which you definitely will, it will feel all the more of an achievement. Well done HC 👍🏃‍♀️

I am very impressed that you’re back to it as soon as your period of self isolation has ended. That on it’s own is admirable and you should feel proud.

Going ‘back’ to week 6 is nothing to feel rotten about- you’ll be back on form in no time. Well done for doing the right thing and taking the break and then getting back in the saddle again. I don’t know if I’d have that discipline 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
