Decided to relax today and take it easy and stop at 30 mins no matter what, also moved over to a new phone and hadn't transferred data so had no music set up 🀒got strava and NRC set up while I warned up and decided to give coach Bennett's 5k a go... Il say this he passed the time... But (and I mean no disrespect to our American cousins here) it was a little bit too touchy feely for me, us Brits are made of sterner stuff!🀣 And without any music to inspire I found I just strolled along wishing I was listening to something else 🀣 the man made 5k go quickly though so il give him that.

The run itself was fine, few knee niggles but nothing major, i added some new route and finished near to the lake where I took today's photo. Then I just sat there for 5 mins and took it all in before I walked home. Definitely the best bit of the morning!

I didn't feel tired or breathy or sweaty and after a few mins I felt like I just wanted to go do it all again 🀣 I didn't 🀣 I'm certainly gonna have to up my game Friday as I'm laid in bath now feeling like I haven't done anywhere near enough today!

Still no work either, we had one day booked in this week and that got cancelled due to lockdown. Can't get grant and just found out I can't top up my bounce back loan πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ looking like applying for universal credit is only option if things keep going like this πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ people who have been self employed for less than couple of years have been screwed royally. Gonna hold off as we have 3 days booked in next week and same the week after 🀞🏻🀞🏻🀞🏻

Positive note to end: running is keeping me sane! Can't wait until my next one 😁 good luck all running today πŸ‘πŸ»

I know you think it was a 'meh' run but sounds like it was relatively easy and was probably good for your fitness and conditioning. I think if you'd had your tunes would've even enjoyed it!? 🎧🎢

I so sorry about the work situation - its not easy for a lot of people who aren't getting the financial support they need. I have some friends who are facing similar challenges and I count myself very lucky that I can work from home, unaffected. Hopefully πŸ™ things improve soon. 🀞

Yeah I think with my own tunes I would have quite enjoyed it, moved a bit quicker too 🀣

It's a good sign though when can run for 30 and not really feel it! 😁

Loving that sunrise photo! Wow.. what time are you out to capture that? I always seem to just miss sunrise as I head out just after 7am.

A good steady run in the bank πŸ‘πŸ» And sounds like Coach Bennett might be consigned to the subs bench in future haha. I think we’re all in this consolidation phase now where we’re trying to work out what works for us in terms of run guidance and inevitably, it will all be a bit hit and miss. I ran just with my Garmin on vibrate to buzz after each km this morning and a long buzz at 5km.. will see how I go with that plan! Maybe I’m done with having someone tell me where I am in the run??

What a bugger though no music for you..feel your pain on that! Get your tunes back in your new phone and have a pumping playlist ready foe your next run, you’ll be flying πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

I went out about 06:30 this morning so that photo was just after 7ish? Not too early.

Yeah think I want best of both worlds at the min, music to pump me up to keep going at pace plus somebody to distract my brain a little bit from thinking about breathing etc, coach Bennet was certainly distracting and who knows he may be more acceptable with tunes on 🀣 I won't rule out trying him again or looking at the mindfulness guided runs on there πŸ‘πŸ»

You might think you went slow today but I bet your muscles are breathing a sigh of relief for the more gentle touch. This lockdown seems to be worse than the last- not good- keep being positive (mentally not corona medically😜)and the running will give you time to clear your head and forget about the stress for a bit- let’s hope this is all over soon πŸ™
