Yesterday I tonked out an 8K and felt so tickety boo afterwards I though I'd go for another run this morning. It's sunny again so perfect conditions. My plan was for 4 K today but with a difference. I was gonna go and see if I could smash whatever my 4K record is!!!
I set off fast and after one K I thought "oh crap! I'm knackered already!". Kept pushing over K2 and by K3 I was praying to the God Of Running Energy to give me a boost! I was definitely getting slower each kilometre. Thought I'd managed a comeback for the final K but no!!!
Still, it came in at 21 mins which is good for me. I've no idea (and can't be bothered finding out!) if it's my fastest 4 but suffice to say it did me the world of good!!
Saw a video on fb yesterday "how Mo can you go?" . Challenging people to run on a treadmill the speed Mo does over 5K. That man runs at 23Kmh!!! One guy last just over a minute. Mo does that for 13 mins non stop!!!

TO EVERYONE READING DAN'S POST.... he's a very experienced, regular runner, graduated yonks ago, and has earned the ability to run every day. That comes with a steady, gradual approach to fitness.
Just 'cos Dan does it, it doesn't mean that anyone can do it.
danzargo - keep the running and posting coming. Loving your posts.
To add to MarkyD our danzargo has been tonking along for over four years and so has safely built up his running legs. He is so long in the tooth that he has forgotten his responsibility to new runners by pointing out that it is not sensible to emulate him until you have been running regularly for at least a year.
Hahaha!! Will do. Yes people, be very aware that my running escapades started in 2013. I was a regular here but then got kidnapped by Facebook. However my Facebook captors got bored of waiting for the ransom as nobody could be arsed paying it. They let me go and here I am again!! Hooray!!
Goodness hello - good to see you back and hear your news. Did think of you a couple of months back whilst dragging myself round Richmond Park for the London 10 mile run.
I'd love to run everyday! Unfortunately my legs would not. They are very selfish and protest most strongly at 3 times a week but then they still have L-plates.
Got very excited at the mention of Richmond park and then realised you weren't talking about North Yorkshire !
