Finally finished C25K full 5k in 36:03 so very pleased. I am aiming to do a 10k run in June 2021 for Prostate Cancer UK that will be exactly one year on my Cancer journey so wish me luck. I’ll need it lol

Congratulations! You got this. I went from 5K to half-marathon years ago and while the transition takes work, once you begin running, it's a matter of building physical and mental stamina.

I started running a few years ago and enjoyed parkrun, evening runs with a local group and had done a few 10ks before I too was diagnosed with cancer . I feel my running fitness helped with the operations and treatment I had last year . I was told in December that I didn't need any further treatment and so started right back at the beginning with C25K in January . I had lots planned including the Great North Run held over from last year's entry . Well , we all know what happened with this year's plans !

It is great to have something to focus on and aim for , you have done so well xxx
