Thank you everyone who has encouraged me both in all if your lovely posts and replying when I faltered.
Today on a rather grey day i graduated. Nowhere near 5K in 30 minutes but i did do 5K overall with some extra walking.
I am 71 and have never run. I needed to lose some weight and get fitter. What a brilliant programme this is. Thank you again.

Excellent! I know how you feel. Don’t feel any pressure to go further or faster. 30 minutes of running at a modest pace is excellent exercise at any age. Enjoy your consolidation runs😊🏃🏼♀️

Week Done. You are an inspiration to me. I have just started week 2 and am 73 next month
Very good wishes for your running. It gets tough at times but if you can get someone to come with you that helped me. My lovely daughter trotted along with me sometimes which spurred me on when I wanted to give up.
