Music within the app

Hi - I am totally new to the app - did my first walk / run with Jo Whiley - but is there an option for music in between her kind words? I can't see anything in the settings.

You can start your Spotify or BBC sounds app (or downloaded music) then start your c25k app, and Jo will cut in and the music goes a bit quieter when she has kind words for you. I download a playlist to my phone to play so my data doesn’t get gobbled up. Hope that helps 🤞🏽 happy running and well done for starting on this wonderful journey 🏃🏻‍♀️

Ok - I'll give that ago. I've sound the BBC sounds pace setting play list from a link on the App - I'll see if it works alongside the lovely Jo. Thanks

Apple Music and Spotify also work if you want to choose your own music. good luck with the programme

Welcome to running, hope you soon settle into your running routine. I also have Jo in my ears as she seemed like the least bossy! Even so, I still get niggly with her when I'm half way through my 28 mins run and she ever so nicely suggests "....... if you feel you can speed up a little....." etc. but I forgive her at the end - usually!

Best of luck to you.

Amazon music also works. Download music though or it uses all your data

Google play music also works! I use that and it goes much quieter when Jo kicks in over the top. Good luck!

After launching the Spotify or BBC Sounds app, you can launch the app that will broadcast your music, then your favorite Joe will turn on. The music will start to sound a little bit quieter, but it will become kinder, and will speak kind words to you. I usually do this while jogging to turn on the music while running and make sure that the playlist data is not destroyed. In addition, I use music pr by amworldgroup.com/music-pr so that my playlists in Spotify are used by as many athletes around the world as possible. I think this will be a good start for a good run and I'm glad you started it! Good luck to you, my friend!
