I started my journey over two years ago to get fitter as I'd lost my mum to a massive heart attack and needed to do something as my exercise was very little. I embarked on the Couch to 5K and now I run an average of 20 miles a week. I've completed two half marathons and now I'm just halfway through my target of 80 miles for October, to raise money for charity in memory of my mum. Just wanted to drop by and say....carry on with what you're doing. There are hard days but the feeling at the end of that run, be it half a mile or 10 miles, it just fantastic. Also, it is doing wonders for my mental health. If anyone is thinking of doing C25K....do it! You will not regret it.

Well done! I’m no where near half marathons but I lost my Mum during my C25k journey. It took me a little longer than 9 weeks but now I can’t wait to run! It has also done wonders for my mental health ❤️

Thanks, unfortunately it happens doesn’t it? But for sure I am enjoying being able to get out and run! I still can’t believe I can do it! I had to stop the first run in week one because I couldn’t run for the last minute! It’s brilliant xx
