Long story but hubby ended up cycling 80 miles on Sunday. Wasn't planned but had no mobile signal when he was meant to call me to collect him ... So ended up cycling home instead. He's 69 and fit but that's inspirational. Which focused me on Monday for Week 6 Run 3. Had planned to "repeat" the last run of Week 5, but when I hit 20 minutes I thought of what he'd achieved and pushed myself - and managed the whole 25 minutes! All the advice about it being a mental challenge as much as a physical is spot on. Now just need to do it three times more before moving on to week 8. Yikes - I'm beginning to sound like a runner!!
