It started so well. 10 mins in and I was already in a rhythm.... then the demons started talking.

Time seemed to go slow, couldn’t get my breathing straight - was ever so close to stopping. Obviously I carried on but it took all of my will power. In the 38 mins I travelled 4.2km so that’s flipping ace. Run 2 this week will be better.

Well done on completing the run Janeyra - if I ever struggle with breathing it's due to me going too fast, I always just slow down a little and get my breathing as natural as possible and it seems to the click back into place and is much more enjoyable. Sometimes we just have tough runs though and its a real achievement to just dig in and get it done.

I'm on the same week as you - so good luck with the rest of week 8 and hopefully we'll graduate at a similar time too. 👍

You’re spot on. I was going at a quicker pace from the off. We live n learn 😏

Good luck with the rest of your week 8!

Cheers , I had a great run today - was a bit surreal and I felt like a proper runner and not someone just pretending to run - I hope it wasn't just a fluke. 🤣 Slow it down a little next run and I'm sure you'll smash it (and maybe even enjoy it too) 😀

It’s never a fluke - you are a runner.

We are all runners.

Thanks, I’m planning on having a brilliant (slightly slower) run on Friday 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️
