This was the most enjoyable run I have had for a couple of weeks. Although I didn't have the stamina to speed up for the last 60 secs I did want to keep going at my "slow & steady" pace so I did 30 mins.
Just want to say Jay66UK thinking of you and understand how "gutted" you feel but you take good care for a few days and your W8 buddies will be waiting. Ripcurlrana is right, we will all graduate in the same class. Big hugs Jay.

Thank you. Was a good run after a few hard slog ones so thought I would just enjoy the little extra in the legs. Hope your run tomorrow is a good one!!
Yay! Well done. And wow, smashed it to 30 minutes!
Thanks for the kind comment - I recognise these things happen. My personal deadline for completion is a way off - I expected to struggle much more in the early weeks - and that is only an ambition anyway.
Thanks Jay. Although I had a good run the shine isn't really there without our running buddy so really wishing you a speedy recovery. I know you will make sensible decisions for your health. We'll be here and waiting.
This is not playing catch up, this is a huge challenge we have taken on and the chance of injury is always there and can happen to us at any time. Not sure where in the UK you are but when we both graduate and running 30 mins without a struggle (and we will) we'll meet up and go for a run and smile and share laughs about the journey
