Started with trepidation. Today I was carrying a change of clothes with me as I ran to work. Didn’t drink enough yesterday and went for a slow seven mile walk, it was my rest day after all and walking is okay right?!

I ran slow and decided not to try and go quicker when Jo suggested it half way through as I was doing good and had a long way to go. When she suggested it with five mins left I figure why not I can always slow down again. I was surprised when she said you’ve done it.

What should have been a really uncomfortable run was chilled and actually quicker than usual even with my backpack and perceived slow pace. Still slow but quicker from 🐌 to 🐢

It’s really lovely when it all comes together.

Glad you had a good run. It is nice when that happens.

Well done! You’re doing great 👍, I walk everyday on my none run days. My dog used to love the running in the early weeks but now I think it would be a bit too much for him now, so walking it is 😄

I love walking and hope to get a dog next summer. A red golden retriever is our ideal, so I need to start contacting breeders.

Lovely we’ve got a golden Labrador he will be 2 in September but he’s a joy to have 😄

Not at all jealous 😊 I prefer labradors but my husband wants a fluffy dog so we compromised with retriever as they have good temperaments and are active.

Good choice that was our choice too but after seeing our lab it was love at first sight 😊

Excellent effort. Well done 👍. I'd love to run with my dog but I think my pace would hold him back. Plus he's nose driven so I think he would stop too often or chase the wildlife! Squirrels and deer are a face🥴

Wow, I am impressed. I did week 8 run 1 this morning and found it a bit hard, without carrying anything at all, never mind a rucksack.
