Wow! Things really stepped up a notch this week. I’m glad to say I finished the run (2 x 5 minutes and 2 x 3 minutes) it it was the most aerobically challenging run this far. My legs will be sore tomorrow! But not wasn’t too much of a step up and I’m confident I’ll have no problems for the rest of the week.
I finished my Straits binge and now I’m back to listening to the Scriptnotes screenwriting podcast and dealing with plot issues in my head to pass the time

I learned to not take an extra long walk at the end of the 3rd run. It's mainly psychological to want to "rest" as your mind is not used to it. However your body is surprisingly adaptable.
I think this is a great idea I lack confidence Aswell so I’m going to start running at half 10 at nite til I get some confidence Behinde me can I ask how it was the very first night you went did it get easier thanks x
Hi, yes as long as you have the energy that late at night, and your area is safe! I'm a night owl and I run on a very quiet private street. It's actually very gradual process and it doesn't matter if you look like an idiot or jog very slowly, and you arent shattered afterwards (just little stiff the next day) so if late night works for you I say do it!
