Wow. I generally try to take advice with a pinch of salt as everyone's experience is different. But, wow, you weren't wrong about week 6. Back in week 4 I thought week 5 would be where I crumbled and gave up. Boy was I wrong.
Today was a real battle mentally to thwart those gremlins that feed negativity. However I tried to remember all the wise words about slowing down and pacing myself and here I am enjoying my stretches.
I ran my best distance as well today of 3.6k which is encouraging. My question is how do I begin to slowly increase the distance I run? And will I actually be able to run 5k by the end of week 9?
Thanks team

Congratulations on completing your longest workout to date.
Only a small proportion of graduates from this forum who responded to a poll, managed 5k in 30 minutes by graduation healthunlocked.com/couchto5....
Graduation requirements are that you complete three thirty minute runs, regardless of distance.
Just keep at an easy conversational pace, which is the most efficient pace to develop your ability to run further and faster.......but leave that until later.
