Week 1, Day 1

I joined in August but I didn’t attempt my first run until today. Up until now I have just been going for daily walks.

Week 1, Day 1 went better than I had imagined. My calves started aching early on but eased a bit; then the arches of my feet started to ache. But now i’ve made a start, I feel quite pleased with myself.

Too right - August and early September were much too hot to start running.

Better wait until the rain starts - or should I say nature's cooling system.

Well done for taking the plunge...

No stopping you now.
