Ok, so I know it's not running yet but it's the longest distance on new leg (with crutches), it's also over uneven ground, Av speed shows 1.mph but that includes time stopped taking photo's, moving average was 2.1 mph. Smart watch telling me recovery time = 28 hours.
Not quite ready to restart C25K yet as longest jog since amputation is once around the dining table(without crutches I might add).
Slowly slowly catchy monkey.

Now that is what I call dedication, we have not had many if any people with amputation doing C25K, I wish you Petem56 the very best for doing the course whenever you start, onwards and upwards ๐๐พ ๐
Hi Petem56.. keep trying and Iโm sure youโll get there.. Iโm also an amputee, for a little longer than you though.. I completed Couchto5k in June, although I only managed just over 3km in half an hour.. but Iโm still trying too.. Good luck, and keep posting updates..๐
Take a look at my posts and profile.. happy to help if I can, ask anything. My main priority is stump care to avoid infection.. If you are on Facebook join the Limbpower groups..๐
Brilliant, always moving in the right direction. And I'm actually impressed with your jog round the dining table too, I'm not sure I could even have done that 10 years ago, before weight loss and C25K!
No doubt that you'll get there, with your combination of grit and common sense to not push for too much, too soon, I know you will make it. Maybe a splash of bl**dy-mindedness in there too?
Canโt believe I missed your last couple of posts. So pleased you are now progressing, keep going, with your determination youโll get there ๐๐
