W9 R2 - Only went and ran 5K!

How did that happen? Well I ran too far along the canal on my outward leg before I turned back - and when Laura said stop I was still a good way from from where I'd usually start 5 min walk to my car - and I needed to get back - so I kept running to that spot only went and found out I'd run 5.05 K in 36min 28 sec. Well my graduation run on Sunday can be a gentle triumphant consolidation after that !

Well who'd have believed when a couple of months ago when I was wondering how I'd manage those 60 second runs that I'd now run 5K non stop

I'm so glad cos I've got a colonoscopy soon and what with having to have a swab test and and the starvation day - and the "moviprep" experience before that before that I thought I might have to wait a bit before I hit the 5K.

I'm having a spell off the booze or else I'd go and pour myself a celebratory drink even if it is morning . A cuppa it will have to be then! Big grin !
