Just came across this on my Smartphone, it was my very first post to C25K BEFORE I began running, although it says graduate I began C25K with week 1 about 6 months after I posted it 3 years ago.

I like to reminisce on my past, I just went to my profile page wondering how far back my posts went, all the way to my first post.

That's lovely!

My first post to c25k was a cry for help after I strained my calf on run 2 of week 1. I don't normally do social media, but these forums are amazing, full of wonderful people offering unconditional support and advice.

I hope you quickly recovered from that strained calf, I am 'on Facebook and Twitter' but I rarely comment on them.

It was about 12 days before I was able to run again. In the beginning going up and down stairs was so painful. The help and advice I got on here was invaluable and blew me away a bit.

That's why I stayed and carry on posting

I have all of my significant posts in a separate blog. Fairly early on I realised that I wanted to keep a separate record of my achievements and special runs. So when I post something interesting I copy it to my blog

It is nice to look back on milestone runs, I notice that I did report on run 3 of week 5 and run 3 of week 9 as well as other milestone runs like my first parkrun, first 5K, 10K and 10 miles as well as that 10K fail run I ran in January.

That's wonderful AlMorr. You are truly 'awesome'! I'm 66 and loving what I've been able to do. I hope I'm still going at 74. You are inspiring! 😊

Thanks Blossom, I am sure you will be able to run at age 74, up to now I have been able to run twice, rather than 3 or 4 times a week, if I was 30/40 years younger I would probably be running 3 or 4 times a week, but at 74, two will do. 😊 🏃🏾

It's so interesting to see this, Al. You were no slouch three years ago, that's for sure.

I was just interested in how far back the posts went, I started C25K because I had cut down on the number of times I cycle, I still cycle once a week, so that meant that I could begin the course, by the way this morning I ran my 16th (not) parkrun on one of the official Parkrun courses I run, a day earlier than usual, this morning my time was 33.30 with a pace of 6.42/km, good run on a lovely Autumn morning, there were plenty of swans in the loch. 😊 🏃🏾
