First 5K completed!

After graduating I did 9 x 30 minute consolidation runs and then did one longer run a week and two shorter 20 minute, slightly faster runs. Finally ran 5K - took 45 minutes but it was great. Plan to consolidate these runs, hopefully get a bit quicker and then see if I want to run further. Fingers crossed for Park Runs starting up again - looking forward to running with others!

You are progressing well, that first 5k is magic isn’t it? we took 52 minutes for the first one and 6 months later ran 5k in 40 minutes so yes you will speed up naturally over time
