W5 R3 - Something to be proud of

I just finished Week 5, Run 3 and I'm incredibly proud of myself. I've found myself struggling to commit to exercise over the past few years and since COVID-19 started and I've been working from home I put on 10kg. I've been emotional eating and not in a great head space. I needed to try something new so decided to give Couch to 5K a try and have been really enjoying it - to be able to tune into the podcast and just go - not having to think about what to do has been key for me. I was a bit panicked about Week 5 but I just did it. It feels so good.

As an aside, you know you're in Australia in Spring when you have to sweet talk the magpies into not swooping you as you run!

Good luck everyone, you're doing such a great job and investing in yourself.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊

I like your username, I also am a chocoholic, after a walk, run or bike ride I usually have a piece of chocolate.

That's fantastic! I started for pretty similar reasons and now I don't see myself stopping. Good work!
