Done it! I'm SO happy!

Well the day has arrived and I completed Run 3 of Week 9...at last. Knee was fine too.

I'm over the moon and hubby and the two cats were waiting for me on the doorstep (Sponge, my avatar, just wanted her tea!) as I arrived home.

What a buzz. Thank you to everybody here for being so encouraging. I cannot believe I can run for 30 minutes non-stop, totally inconceivable at the beginning. I can honestly say that I think weeks 1 and 2 were the hardest because it was so alien to me.

Now the fun begins trying to get my pace a little better, I must have patience :D

Graduation badge next to my name, well that makes me feel a lot younger to be awarded with something! 😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating from C25K, well done, you deserve to be very proud of yourself and "over the moon" 🏃🏾🎓

To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE 🎓 next to your username leave a message in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked September graduation C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated from C25K and graduated, I am sure you that your husband and two cats are also very proud of you.

Thank you AlMorr. I have just applied for my badge. Cat's were doubly delighted when I gave them their tea (of course) and husband is cooking a special meal with a glass or two of red wine to celebrate. He's a great cook so I'm looking forward to it! :)

That is very nice of your husband cooking a very special meal and treating you with red wine, enjoy. 😊 🏃🏾 🎓

Thank you, CazzaW!

I went out like a light at bedtime last night and apparently had the most epic sleep last night according to my sleep monitor...98% ...a record in quality! I suppose that is what happiness and a lovely bath and nice meal cooked by other 'alf does!

Nice relaxing day today, potting up plants and bulbs for some winter/spring colour. :)

Incidentally the tune that played as I completed was LL Cool J's "Mama Said Knock You Out" .......a good old Old Skool Rap ( released nearly 20 years old, where does the time go? 😳). He wrote this as a reply to all his critics who said he was finished as a rapper. This was at a time when Gangster Rap was becoming popular (and we are still lumbered with it today) . His grandmother said to him, 'James' (his real name) 'You go out there and knock them out'. :D

And that is what we all should do with people who are unkind enough to say, "You are doing what? Nah...you are too old/too fat" or whatever! ☮️
