Today I am finally a graduate! I had a lovely run this morning and managed a full 5k too! My legs felt like lead on the last 5mins but listening to Jo spurred me on and I felt so emotional (hormones don’t help πŸ˜‚)

I honestly can’t believe that 9 weeks ago I was literally a couch potato and now I can run 5k! This program is actually magic!

Thank you to everyone on this forum - I read it before and after every run for inspiration or advice and I can’t express enough how much it has helped me! πŸ™πŸ»

What’s next for me? Well ....... I’m going to repeat week 3 for a few more weeks until I can do it comfortably and then Bridge to 10K! 😁😁 🀞🏻🀞🏻

Interesting that you are going to repeat week 3, that is the shortest workout of C25K, it is also the week that some runners, including myself restart after a short break from running.

OK but if you do have a short break from running week 3 is a good week to resume, in a way you do repeat week 9, after graduation runners run several 30 minute consolidation runs before they think of what to do next, you can try the C25K + Stepping Stones podcasts with Laura which are pace, speed and stamina, after that you could do Ju Ju's Magic 10 plan if you want to run a 10K.
