I have just finished my first 30 min run. I am so pleased to have come so far but have a little bit of worry what will I do when I have finished the programme. The support has been fantastic and the thought that I have come so far is brilliant - but I do not want it to stop.
Week 9 run 1: I have just finished my first 3... - Couch to 5K
Week 9 run 1
After C25K it's common to re-run the last week's runs a few times as consolidation. Maybe experimenting with the pace a little (especially going slower).
There's a sibling forum on here called "Bridge to 10k" if you want to pursue the path towards an hour or 10km or further.
But the important thing after graduation is to maintain the level you've already achieved for a little while before trying to advance.
Keep us all updated with your progress and support others to achieve what you have. Well done 👍
I think a lot of people feel the same. You’ve had a challenging goal for the past 9 weeks and when it’s been achieved you suddenly feel cast adrift.
These NHS 5K+ podcasts have been designed for graduates. The crew on here refer to them as Stepping Stones podcasts:

You just need to move the ‘goal’ posts and set yourself a new challenge; a new focus will help you with momentum.
My initial goal on graduating will be to hit 5K and then I might try to focus on speed and aim for 5K in 30mins.
Good luck with your onward journey! 🏃♀️✨
Thank you very much for your words of wisdom. I will look at the Stepping Stones podcast - that sounds just what I need.
