Japanese slow jog

Asthma was being a b**** this morning, so I went with a Japanese slow jog.

The sun was shining, the berries loading the bushes and the sky was blue. So it was quite nice, all in all, though I do prefer breathing properly. Heigh ho, you can't have everything. So long as I stuck to really slow and smooth it was OK, but wouldn't have dared push it. It fitted quite well into this mix it up week, having done a Stepping Stones and a Jeffing, a slow one was about right.

Still, I was out, and think all I can do now Autumn Asthma season is here is go with my body and do what it dictates. As long as I can do something!

So, that's today's report, happy running all.

Air quality wasn’t great here today - I had to use my inhaler, too! Glad you managed to enjoy your run, slow jogging is good! 👏👍😀

What would you prefer? A pan pipe version of Girl from Ipanema or Wheels Cha-cha-cha? 🤣

Actually I quite like The Girl from Ipanema...

My mild asthma seems to be more to do with humidity/air quality.

There are many different triggers. The absolute worst for me is catching a cold or flu. Always followed by weeks of coughing, wheezing and debilitating inability to breathe properly.

I hardly knew I had astmha all summer.

Autumn asthma? I have mild asthma but I thought it would just be restricted to spring and summer 🤔

Mine hits badly every Autumn, improves for spring and summer. Triggered by cold and damp not pollens.

Gotcha. Mine is grass and pollen and dust (I really should hoover!)

Plus what I have is poorly controlled asthma, to give it it's proper name. More like brittle asthma really, connected to severe rhinosinusitis. Which kind of explains why it's worse in colder weather.
