Hola from sunny Spain!

This is for for anyone struggling at the moment or even those who are thinking of starting or perhaps quitting (DON'T GIVE UP! NEVER EVER GIVE UP!).

Maybe you're struggling to finish some of the runs, maybe you're out of breath, maybe you're lacking confidence in yourself, 'fearing' that 3, 5, 8, 20 or 25 mins is out of reach or 'impossible'. Have NO FEAR... for this will help you. DiscoRunner has promoted this video lot previously and I've been posting it a lot recently too.

Watch:

youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2kh...

youtube.com/watch?v=-4lCJGC...

and also this: the Running Shuffle (a little quicker but shows a useful technique)

youtube.com/watch?v=kQ5wQ5N...

SUMMARY: you CAN do it, but you need to find the right pace for you. Keep it SLOW. Go at the right pace and at the end of the final running bit of every session, you *should* feel like you could carry on.

Think 'JOG'... not 'RUN'.

Good luck!

This is how I run but I’ve seen so many posts on other sites about “flying feet” when mine hardly leave the ground. I was thinking it was because I was a novice and the flying feet would come later

I wouldnt worry or concern yourself about it. Run how you run and keep it nice and slow.

Watching this video was a turning point for me in c25k! I started the programme after having completed it years ago and started off thinking I would aim to get faster from the outset. Needless to say by week 3 I was gasping.... Someone (it may have been you?) Posted this and it was a revelation. Thanks for this!
