A nice leisurely 5K consolidation run this morning. Given it was quite foggy when I set off, thought I would run without music to give me a better chance of hearing approaching traffic on the back roads (not that there was any). So glad I did as it was a very still morning, just me and the early morning mist and birdsong. The sort of morning which makes you glad you got out of bed for a run ! Certainly set me up for the day ahead.

Looks like a lovely morning for a run. It was really stuffy when I ran at 8 this morning.

Ooo I have route envy, what a wonderful photo! It's lovely that the birdsong accompanied the scene too 🙂

You should enter that photograph for a photograph competition, it is beautiful.
Lovely running at that time before the heat gets higher, although humidity is high at that time of day, it's better than the high temperatures of the afternoon,
so happy that you enjoyed your run earlier today.
