Week 5 😳
Just finished week 5 today and never in a million years did I think I'd run for 20 minutes straight. Everyone on here kept saying 'you can do it' and the 'plan has built you up for this', 'the body can do it it's just the mind you have to get in place'.....They were so so right.
You will do this and you will be amazed at yourself, not to mention euphoric once you complete R3. Go for it!
I did run 2 today & definitely didn’t think I’d ever do 8 minutes, but I did, & there were hills!!! (I usually run on a treadmill so that was a shock!) 20 minutes though seems like such a leap...

One of the most frequent issued raised here, if you trust the program and approach the run in the same way you have all of the others you will be amazed. This time next week you will be posting the "I have done it" post.
I remember when I reached week 5 and Michael said there will be three different runs this week. OK fine I thought then saw run three I worried the whole week and then the day came I jumped out of bed and thought just get it over and done with to save worrying the whole day. I done it and after I completed it, I felt such as sense of pride as I thought there was no way I'd be able to run non stop for 20 mins. It was one of my best runs ever. You can do it and good luck!
After reading the link Iannode posted about being ready and positive, I looked forward to and loved wk5 r3. It is still the best one I’ve done and look forward to feeling like it again.
Next run is wk7 r2, another 25 minutes, and whilst it’s not approached with as much positivity, I know I can do as I’ve done it twice already and at the the end of July this year, that would have been impossible to me. You got this! 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻
You will be fine. You'll be surprised at how you can keep going. It's true what everyone says, the earlier runs are set up to prepare you. So you'll soon realise you can do it!
