Stop looking ahead then... as Yoda said.."...you must feel the force around you.." :)

Trust the programme and have faith in your own strength.. :)

You'll be fine. We all were. Don't worry about Friday or next week, just focus on today and one foot in front of the other.

Thanks. I never thought I'd get this far as I struggled with 1 minute 5 weeks ago.

Im doing it tomorrow and the dreaded 20 on Friday. I think this religion of running requires more blind faith than most others! That's what's getting me through at the moment.

Good luck, let us know how it goes πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ’πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

I found first one easier and think I could have continued past the 8 minutes quite easily. I found the second 8 mins harder as got a bit if cramp in my calf when I was walking.

You ran for 15 minutes in R1 and will run for a total of 16 minutes in R2. The blocks of running are different and the walking intervals compensate. You are prepared for this physically from the runs you've completed to get to this point, just don't let it become too big in your mind. You've got this!! πŸ˜€

I am afraid I cannot relate to this "fear" of W5R3, maybe I am lacking in some way. It is a run in the training plan that you chose to do, presumably to improve your fitness. The challenges have to increase or you would not improve your fitness.

Okay, I know that a few years ago we used to publicly humiliate those who did not complete the run, by coming round to their homes and making them run naked through the massed ranks of jeering graduates, before hanging, drawing and quartering them, while hung upside down from a giant golden statue of St Laura. But those were the old days..............aaaaah what fun we had back then.......... nowadays all you have to do is repeat the run until you complete it and then move on.

What's the problem?

Well, I did it. The first 8 minute was better then the second one. So proud of myself.
