Iβm not sure if it was the three π» last night or running a short 1 mile yesterday on my rest day but my body was achey today π
Because of this I decided to have a rest day today but after popping on here and seeing everyoneβs efforts I changed my mind. Everyone is pushing through with their runs whilst dealing with all kinds of things in their lives so I can get over a few niggles π€
I knew I needed to be pushed by my music choice so I opted for a 167BPM playlist π΅ and had told myself Iβd be happy with a sub 6 minute per K and a sub 30 minute 5K.
Although my body was aching and I felt like today was a bit of a struggle the music must have down the trick β
Iβm really really happy with this run and I will be treating myself with a lovely long hot soak in the bath π followed by some (naughty) nice food and a relaxing film πΏ

Fab time! I still dream of a sub 30mi ute 5k. Did my first ever 10k today though. Hoping a bit of endurance might up my 5k pace. πΊ fuelling obvs. doing the trick !
