What a year is 2020.

For too many months of this year I have been stuck looking at a screen, stagnating in the hut at the end of my garden planning/ teaching and marking classes on zoom - getting increasingly frustrated and going slowly crazy.... so I knew things had to change and I needed to re-evaluate what was important in my life. Family, friends and ..... yes, I had to admit it that there was another 'f' word that my 3 lovely children constantly bang on about which was missing from my life ........ Fitness! Therefore, I took control of my slovenly-ness and got off the sofa.

I need to thank Laura and all her team for keeping me going over the past few months. I am more than impressed with myself on getting to the end of C25K. My recommendation has to be to plug in to a gripping Audible book on your earplugs and just plod along as you listen. Running all the way home at the end of the day after a full-on, busy day of 8 year olds in the classroom has become a weirdly wonderful tonic. And so so much better than a day of zoom!

Believe me, I'm not sure how, but this programme really works. Thank you from the bottom of my running shoes!

ps ....Where do I find the consolidation runs?

Fabulous really well done. I’m following you over the finish line tomorrow hopefully and how this programme has managed to get this rotund older chap through to the end must be magic..... just like your post. Well done!

Well done on completing the program! It's a life-changer - if you want it to be! I also work in a Primary school and love my runs after a busy day. Isn't it great having all the kids back - in a very busy, staggered, regimented, lots of hand- washing(!) kind of way!😀
