NO.
(Well, not necessarily)
Quite a few years ago I used to often get a lot of pain in my knee after/during long walks.
When I started C25k I was a little nervous of this but I can honestly say I have never had any knee aches or pains on any of my runs.
They do however click when I do my warm up excercises 😂
I think the important thing is to find out WHY you are experiencing knee pain in the first place.
Having run for a few years now and having had a few issues with a tight It band that affected my knee - I have learned to recognise 🤞what is probably just a niggle and will loosen up as I run. I still saw a physio for advice however. I would never advocate trying to run through pain and risk ending up with a far more significant injury which could keep you out for months.😕
A good Sports Physio is worth their weight in gold in my opinion. 🙂
