I sympathise. Hard as it is, you HAVE to be (a) patient [sorry for pun] - injuries take time to heal. Before I began C25K I got over-enthusiastic on the treadmill and got tendonitis in my ankle and it took 10 weeks before I could resume running again - I decided that C25K was the perfect route back for me.

4 weeks is nothing, trust me. I'm into week 10 of my comeback after a 5 month lay-off from a small tear in my Achilles tendon - happened during training for the London Marathon. At times you think you'll never run again- easy to think. But it simply takes time.

So .... be easy on yourself, allow your injury to heal, rest up and when you're ready, get back into C25K slowly. You have PLENTY of time ahead.

Good luck

John

Never apologize for puns. Puns are life.

Take a breath and realise that you can't run FOR NOW. Rest, heal up and come back to it when your ready.

You’ll be back... hard though it is to sit it out. Doctor is an option, but I’m not sure the good old NHS are able to do much for it.
