Pleased to have made a start. No issues during the running (apart from my knee mildly reminding me of a school rugby injury from 60 years ago!). Looking forward to the coming weeks.

Well done.
Take note of the advice in the guide on minimising impact, stretching after every run and hydration to keep it comfortable.
I'd have been happy to have completed W1R1 with no issues. Instead it was a real shock to the system and I wasn't sure what had hit me.
Congratulations on both making a start and finishing the run. Look forward to reading about the rest of your journey.
