I'm a little in shock, I can't quite believe the the tech, I had to go onto Google Earth and trace my route to check the kilometres.
6.37km in just under 35 minutes. I thought I was going slow and the second 10mins was dogged by the return of the "Phantom Poo". I did feel comfortable though and my legs were slightly wobbly at the start of the cool down. Cardio/ pulmonary recovery was so quick though, <60 seconds to normal breathing, & I am over the moon with how much fitness I have gained.
Thought I would share a pic of Hayle cricket club pitch & its view over the estuary. Not quite as spectacular as when the tide is full, though.
I'm really looking forward to R3.
