I’ve had the same problem as some of you with a wonky Strava recording today.
The mapped route was all over the place and about 1.6km missing. The supposed starting point was even in a different road to the one I ran.
There’s nothing I could find on their website about known issues for this month so I’ve reported it - you can do this from the app after scrolling down to the end of the run where there’s a “report” button.
This was W7 R1, which should’ve been more or less the same as W6 R3 which recorded fine. I’ve plotted the route on the OS map app and it bears out the previous recorded run’s km.

I've given up on Strava. It had me running across bridges I didn't run across and completing a km in 4.30 followed by another one at about 3.20!!! Never felt like it gave me an accurate reading. Swapped to MapMyRun and now have. Garmin watch.
