Knee pain! Help?

I have managed to run the first 3 weeks twice and finally managed to run the full 5 mins in week 4 which I NEVER thought I would do! Really pleased. However I am having a problem with my right knee. It doesn't hurt while running unless going uphill. When I stop it hurts on the outer side and above the kneecap. Then is gradually gets worse until the next run, then no pain til I stop again. The worst comes when I've been sitting then try to walk on it but gets gradually better with movement. Any ideas? I R. I. C. E it after runs and stretch prior to and after runs.?????
