Nike Run Club app

Thank you to whoever it was who posted on here in the last day or two about the Nike Run Club app. I finished C25K in July and had been running every other day, usually first thing in the morning, going a wee bit further or a wee bit faster - and then my husband (a postman) was bitten by a dog on delivery and couldn't drive, so I had to drive him to work. And then I had to go back to work. And then this week we've had to self-isolate as hubby had a Covid test on Monday before surgery yesterday. Meantime, any time I had managed to trail myself out, with or without taking the dog with me, I was finding it hard to get very far without stopping. Ye gads - the other day, I felt like I'd run miles, yet when I checked my watch I'd done - ooohhh - a whole 0.65 km and I was busted. Today, having been woken by hubby at 515 in his quest for his painkillers and food, I loaded up the 20 min "First Run" - and coasted it. I know 3 km is a bit pathetic but it felt awfully good to me that I did 20 mins non-stop and could have gone further. So - thank you, Nike Run Club app and the good soul who introduced me to it through this forum!

Hiya, I love that app too. I do the guided runs, is that what you do?? I find myself replying to Coach Bennett and saying ' yes!, I feel good!!!! I have to look round to make sure no one is around!! 🏃‍♀️😁🏃‍♀️

Yes, it was a guided run I followed this morning. I was determined that I was fine going it alone after I finished C25K, but today was just SO much better than any of my runs over the last couple of weeks!
