Well done that's amazing! That's my goal too (have hit 4.5k in 35 mins but am trying to cap my runs to 2-3 min increments each week of consolidation!) Hopefully will get there soon. Congratulations!
Oh that would work! I start strava when i leave my music and couch apps then fitbit when i start running! Its a kerfuffle. Now i could start just music and fitbit!!! Just need a timer bell and i am set π
That is a great achievement. Well done . Strava is easy to sort out ! I do my 5 min walk and then start it and set it up on 500 markers and that works for me . I completely agree I canβt run in warm weather , looking forward to getting back to regular runs . Good luck .
Well done too! I have ditched warmup walk in favour of warmup exercises indoors (plenty on Youtube) - does the job and means I leave the house running. On return a short walk then NHS post-run stretches - very effective, short and - again - indoors
Congratulations!! very well done! I'm still hovering around the 4.6 km in 35 mins mark - got a bit of a dodgy knee at the moment so don't want to push too hard but I'm hoping to get to the magic 5k soon! π
I personally ran 5k twice after my graduation, ran my first official race for 5,5km and then went straight to 10k preparation.
I should graduate in two weeks, and I believe that after that, I will spend some time trying to experiment a little bit - try slow long runs, fast short runs, sprints, HIIT... cannot wait
Enjoy! Have ran 5k twice so far. Thinking about the virtual race for life on 26 sept. 5k. Then not sure. Prob aim for 10k. Dont think 60 mins is beyond me atm Watch this space π
