I haven’t posted on this forum for awhile but I have been lurking.

It was one year today that I began my journey into C25k with 30 second runs space by 90 second walks. At the end of my first session I did not believe that I would be able to complete the programme. I began reading the inspiring posts on this forum and posting about my journey. The encouragement I received was fantastic and helped me to complete the programme.

Since I started I have run 3 time every week with the exception of 2 weeks while I was recovering from an operation. I was doing parkrun every week until Covid struck. I have seen the benefits of regular exercise on my health and well-being. I now look forward to my runs and have run a total of 1016 km over the last 12 months.

I would like to thank all the lovely people on this forum for their encouragement and support. To

all the people going through the process at the moment I am proof that it is possible and can lead to a healthier life.

I am a 65 year old COPD sufferer who has reversed type 2 diabetes with a 10 k pb of 52 minutes.

This is a really lovely post!!! I am just finished week4 but while it didn’t go well, I am enjoying the buzz of running and I am really proud of myself for keeping going - I’m a renowned giver upper!!!

It’s great to know that this app works and even better having the encouragement of everyone on this message board.

Thank you for all of that.
