My Runiversary!

Posting on this forum as will hopefully inspire all of you that are early into the programme.

One year ago today I embarked on the C25K programme and completed my 1st Run. I had been diagnosed with Type 2 in Sept 18 and had lost 2st between then and Christmas. (Thnks to Slimming World). I started the programme not confident that my knees would allow me to do it, but decided to give it a go and see what happened.

To cut a long story short one year later I have lost another 3st, my Type 2 is in remission and on Monday I celebrated my Runiversary (as working today) with my 2nd 10 mile run in a time of 1hr 45 mins. Ohh yea and my knees are 95% better than they were then.

My aim this year is to participate and complete an organised Half Marathon.

So if Your’re just getting going, this programme works and anything is possible! It could even be Life Changing like my journey as been! Good Luck with yours!
