When I started this I was dubious about my levels of fitness and self discipline. I have ploughed through this and even when it was a real struggle I carried on. No runs delayed, no runs repeated. I am utterly amazed at myself and if you knew me you’d me amazed too. I stuck with it and I feel marvellous.
I must say this though - this forum - you lovely lot with your encouragement and advice and sharing of your experiences were ‘the difference’. Every step of the way I was checking in to see if anyone felt the same as me either physically or mentally so THANK YOU.
The sky is the limit now - I AM a runner 😊😊😊😊

I will definitely keep running. Consolidation runs come next, I believe, so (quite) a few more 30 minute runs and then I’ll push on to more distance-measured runs. I am still very slow and I didn’t run 5k but I did do 3x30 mins. Maybe the first goal will be to get to 5k 😂
